Vocalist Refund Policy

Digital memberships on Vocalist are billed through Apple, Google, or Paddle. This policy explains how refunds work on each platform and how we can support you if something goes wrong.

1. Scope of this Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all subscriptions and in-app purchases for the Vocalist app on iOS, future Android releases, and the Vocalist web-to-app experience. Because each platform handles billing directly, refund decisions are ultimately made by Apple, Google, or Paddle in accordance with their terms.

2. Digital Services & Legal Basis

Vocalist delivers immediate access to digital lessons, exercises, and community features. Under EU, UK, and US consumer laws, you may be entitled to a refund if the service is faulty, not as described, or unavailable. When you start using Vocalist content within a statutory withdrawal period (such as the EU 14-day right), you acknowledge that performance has begun and waive the right to a “no questions asked” refund unless required by law.

3. Apple App Store Purchases

If you subscribed via an iOS device or the Apple App Store:

  • Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID that purchased Vocalist.
  • Select the relevant transaction, choose “Request a refund,” and describe the issue. Apple will review and respond, typically within 48 hours.
  • Apple’s decision is final. We cannot override or accelerate Apple refund reviews, but we can help clarify usage records if needed.

4. Google Play Purchases

If you subscribed via Google Play (Android):

  • Refunds requested within 48 hours of purchase can usually be submitted directly in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions > Budget & order history.
  • After 48 hours, complete Google's refund form at support.google.com/googleplay/workflow/9813244. Google may contact us for additional context.
  • If Google denies a request you believe is valid, forward the denial email to admin@lamardelimited.com so we can provide supporting information.

5. Paddle (Web) Purchases

Web subscriptions are processed by Paddle.com as our Merchant of Record:

  • Email help@paddle.com or visit paddle.net with your order number to request a refund.
  • Paddle generally honors refund requests made within 14 days if the product has not been extensively used, and will evaluate later requests based on the issue reported.
  • Paddle may ask for confirmation that your account has been downgraded; we will action this promptly once notified.

6. Eligibility & Limitations

  • Refund availability depends on the policies of the store you purchased from; some regions offer longer statutory protections.
  • We may provide usage logs or technical findings to the platform to support your claim. Excessive refund requests or suspected abuse may result in account review.
  • Promotional upgrades, gift codes, or beta access granted directly by Lamarde Limited are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

7. How to Cancel Auto-Renewals

Cancelling a renewal prevents future charges but does not automatically generate a refund.

  • Apple: Open Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, choose Vocalist, and tap Cancel Subscription.
  • Google: Open the Google Play app, tap your profile icon, choose Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, and select Cancel subscription.
  • Paddle: Use the “Manage Subscription” link in your Paddle receipt email to cancel or update billing.

8. Chargebacks & Billing Disputes

If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer instead of requesting a refund through the original platform, access to your Vocalist subscription may be paused while the investigation is pending. Please contact us and the platform first so we can resolve the issue without impacting your account.

9. Providing Proof of Purchase

To help locate your order, keep the confirmation email from Apple, Google, or Paddle. If you cannot find it, share the following with us:

  • The email address linked to your Vocalist account.
  • The approximate purchase date and amount.
  • Any transaction ID or receipt number (e.g., Apple “MQ12345…”, Google “GPA.1234…”, Paddle “#1234567-1234567”).

We will use this information solely to assist with your refund inquiry.

10. Need Help?

Email admin@lamardelimited.com or message our Facebook support page if you have difficulty submitting a refund request or believe a charge was made in error. We aim to respond within two business days.
